Case Study 01 — Logistics / Pipeline Build

Automating Shipment Status Extraction for a Bangkok Freight Forwarder

Challenge

The client's operations team spent 3–4 hours daily manually reading PDF shipping notices from carriers and entering shipment statuses into their internal tracking system. The process was prone to errors and created delays when the team was short-staffed.

Solution

A Flow Review identified a document extraction API that could parse the carrier PDFs reliably. We built a pipeline that watches the email inbox, extracts the relevant fields from each PDF, and posts the data directly to the tracking system — with a fallback queue for documents that do not parse cleanly.

Results

Manual entry time dropped from approximately 3.5 hours to under 20 minutes per day. Error rate fell noticeably in the first month. The client moved to Steady Support three months after handover to extend the pipeline to a second carrier format.

Connecting a Classification AI to a Legal Document Review Workflow

Challenge

A legal services firm was receiving 200–400 client documents per week and spending significant associate time on initial triage — deciding which review category each document belonged to before assigning it to a specialist. This triage had no technical support.

Solution

After a Flow Review, we built a classification pipeline that reads incoming documents, assigns a category with a confidence score, and routes them to the appropriate queue in their case management system. Documents below the confidence threshold are flagged for human review.
